Peter is the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Omnii. As Executive Chairman, Peter has responsibility for Board leadership, interfacing with the CEO, ensuring all parties are adhering to the mission statement, review of compliance issues, provision of guidance on market issues impacting the company, and to ensure ethical business practices are in place. With over 28 years’ experience in the building and construction, fire protection and fire safety industries, Peter has significant consulting engineering expertise. This includes an intimate technical knowledge of all facets of fire protection services and fire safety engineering, a myriad of project delivery methods and risk mitigation techniques. Peter’s vast project expertise stretches across Australia and around the world. His decades of firsthand experience working across complex international projects and jurisdictions has provided him with a global appreciation of the industry and has contributed to his esteemed international regard in the fire engineering profession. Peter’s exposure and resolution of intricate projects is significant, from seeing through Heathrow Airport’s Virgin Atlantic A380 Aircraft Hangar in the UK, to Dubai’s Tower Parkway commercial development in Jumeirah Village South, UAE. Around Australia, Peter’s portfolio of work leaves no sectors untouched, and includes everything from hospitals and healthcare facilities, including overseeing the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in Queensland; to numerous retail projects, such as The Glen Shopping Centre in Melbourne, and Home Consortium’s 40+ Master’s conversions throughout Australia. With this extensive track record delivering high-profile fire engineering projects, Peter has provided an advisory role to a number of Government departments, and he has also been engaged as an expert witness in varying jurisdictions across Australia.
